In their debut 11 track LP, The Inflatable Egos, an alternative/indie/guitar rock project based in New York City, aspire to explore the complexities of a variety of modern relationships in all of their permutations - the seeking of, falling for, basking in, dealing with, falling out of, ending and mourning of those lost – be it intimate, platonic, or societal.
Drawing from influences like the Strokes, the White Stripes, Beck, Queens of the Stone Age, the Arctic Monkeys, Nirvana, David Bowie, the Smiths, and Pink Floyd, The Inflatable Egos sound is melodically inspired, sometimes gritty, with thought provoking lyrics that are both angst ridden and comical and don’t take themselves too bloody seriously.
